ceftriaxon iv 2000mg 1dd 5 to 7 days

Remarks:

Bij risicofactoren:

  • shock/ileus
  • GE bloeding
  • encephalopathie
  • nierfunctie achteruitgang
Medication:

ciprofloxacine po 500mg 2dd 5 to 14 days

Remarks:
  • Alleen indien ongecompliceerde SBP
  • Indien geen kolonisatie met ciprofloxacine resistente micro-organismen
≥ 18 years

Indications: primaire profylaxe

norfloxacine po 400mg 1dd

Remarks:

Overweeg bij patienten met:

  • een eiwitconcentratie in de ascites-vloeistof <15 g/l met een sterk gestoorde leverfunctie (Child score>9)
  • een eiwitconcentratie in de ascites-vloeistof <15 g/l met een gestoorde nierfunctie

 

Medication:

ceftriaxon iv 2000mg 1dd minimum 7 days

Remarks:

Nb. Altijd bij GE bloeding

General comments

Na eerdere hospitalisatie of eerdere (therapeutische of profylactische ) behandeling van SBP dient meropenem als behandeling te worden overwogen.

Op geleide van definitieve kweek antibiotica aanpassen!

Let op: fluorchinolonen kunnen het risico op aorta-aneurysma en aortadissectie verhogen, vooral bij ouderen.
