General comments
Dosering ceftazidim evt. verlagen op basis van MIC
Evt. op geleide kweek en klinisch beeld na 2 wk ciprofloxacine po 750 mg 2dd
Bij beta-lactam allergie, start met ciprofloxacine i.v. 3dd 400 mg, i.p.v. ceftazidime.
Let op: fluorchinolonen kunnen het risico op aorta-aneurysma en aortadissectie verhogen, vooral bij ouderen.
