Geen behandeling tenzij ernstige infectie en/of endovasculair kunstmateriaal in situ en/of immuungecompromitteerd. In de laatste twee omstandigheden behandelen gedurende 14 dgn.
NB: langdurig fecesdragerschap is mogelijk.
Let op: fluorchinolonen kunnen het risico op aorta-aneurysma en aortadissectie verhogen, vooral bij ouderen.
